Now, for more so in depth, Phoenix and Holden are both hurt and sweet. They are the definition of he fell first and they fell harder. 

I was so proud of the story development of Phoenix looking to see how co-dependent he was on Kason. I felt that relationship was good and then became toxic. 

I will say that the ending was great. Both breakups and the choosing yourself to mean the person you are in love with.
