The Deal

Elle Kennedy

I picked up this series because it was supposed to be an easy romantic read - exactly what I needed at that time. And to be honest, this book was everything I hoped for.

The recommendation I got didn't do this story justice. This was not just another fluffy romance with light spice. From the great character to the perfectly executed plot, this book was nothing like I expected but in a good way.

Stories like this are precisely why I always get back to reading after a hard time or reading slump.

I loved the hinted enemies to lovers trope. The two main characters had an adorable love-hate full of bickering relationship, and it felt realistic. Genuinely the chemistry between these two is to die for.

This story was easy to read with a fast pace. I was able to finish it in a day. There were multiple points of view (his and hers), and in my opinion, it complimented the storyline a lot.

Overall I gave this book a four out of five stars. It's an enjoyable romantic novel with great relatable characters and a plot that will have you invested. I recommend it because it was a relaxing read.
