Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb

5.0

Notes: I won this in a Goodreads Giveaway.

I first read this series when I was a teenager and I remembered loving it. As an adult I have been reluctant to re-read in case it wasn’t as good as I remembered. Thankfully, that was not the case. It was just as good as I remembered and I quickly became absorbed in the world Hobb’s had created.

It can be quite slow at times, there is a definite emphasis on characters and relationships over a fast-paced plot, but I enjoy that and it worked for me.

A thoroughly enjoyable read.
