We love and own all the Hugless Douglas books so we were excited to buy this new book by David Melling.

Ruffles is the most adorable little dog. He loves lots of things: chewing, scratching, singing but he DOES NOT like to wear his new coat!!
Ruffles does like to splash in puddles a lot and play with his friend Ruby so in the end he decides it might be worth wearing his coat after all!

This is such a great little story and one every toddler (and parent!) can relate too. I'm hoping it will help to persuade my 2 year old that he needs to wear his helmet to go on his scooter (after falling off and bumping his head recently.)
A fantastic new book. I can't wait for the next Ruffles book in the series!
