This was INCREDIBLE. I love when romance authors write messy, relatable, and REAL people in love. I think Hazelwood has a great grasp on writing real characters and an incredibly interesting plot. While this is a bit heavier/darker than most of her other books, it really isn’t (if you’ve read any of the others, then this one wouldn’t be such a shock?) I think the complexity was handled so well, because in real life there often times aren’t “conclusions.”

Also…. I love reading from Eli’s POV. The mix of 1st and 3rd POV was perfect, and if every book of hers was written this way forward, I will forever be in her debt
