4☆ Review:
Wow. Just wow.
Lucinda Berry takes the taboo topic of pedophiles and delves deep into their psyche (more specifically; Noah’s).
Noah, at age fifteen, molests two girls and is sentenced to one year for his crime. Now he is sixteen and has been released. His father can’t even look at him. His mother is on his side even while knowing that what he’s done is wrong.
This book was much more than I thought it would be. I felt so many complicated emotions while listening. Feeling sympathy for someone you don’t want to feel it for is a crazy experience.
Plus, the twist at the end!
Highly recommend!
