I’m glad I read “Widow of Rose House” before this one because I looooooved that book, and this one was just good for me! Only one smutty scene, and Ben wasn’t as perfect for me as his brother Sam in book one. Though I do love the time period and location this book takes place in, and the caliber of man in the 19th century just seems (at least as written here) leaps and bounds beyond 2021 men, hahaha. And as a former dancer, I loved the ballet aspect. :)
