This was fun! Spicy, evil Fae, and a magic system based  on colors? I’m in! While not groundbreaking, I was thoroughly interested in this book from start to finish. The magic system was cool, and I was glad to see something outside of the normal Fae magic troupes. There were some interesting plot twists, and I can see some intentional loose threads to carry into the next book. I’m low key glad I waited to start this book since the sequel comes out on audio book tomorrow. I’ll be immediately jumping into it!
