I don’t know what to do with myself after finishing this book … how will I ever recover? I love the way Hannah Kent created these incredibly complex characterisations for a whole cast of characters, each of them intertwining in such unique ways. Such a beautiful, haunting and heartbreaking story, I’m crying my eyes out.
