I definitely enjoyed this one more than the first book. Knowing about the characters and this world already made it smoother to dive right into the book. The plot is super engaging and intense at times. It was fast paced with past foes and new foes appearing. 

I liked Alex and Luna even more in this one. I am really enjoying how their friendship is developing. I loved how Alex made a choice of what Luna can mean to him.

I was so happy to see Luna officially become Alex’s apprentice.
