I spotted What Happens in Paradise at my local @bostonpubliclibrary in the lucky day collection and it was meant to be. I think I was number 80 on the holds for it so lucky day I love you!

This is the second book in the Paradise series by the amazing @elinhildebrand and we pick up where book one left off with the Steele family picking up the pieces after Russell’s death. Irene is still queen supreme and I love her character progression. What I respect most about her is she is really taking the time to process everything because it’s A LOT!! I love that Cash and Baker got their heads out of their asses in this book and seem to be making genuine strides towards good futures.

My favorite part of this book is the Rosie journal entries because her voice is non existent in the first story. You can see the passion and confusion and well it’s messy! She’s a lot more than just the mistress.

Overall I liked this one just as much as book one and I cannot wait for the finale book out later this year!!!
