I didn't hate it. I loved the romance, and I definitely loved the characters. Alex Volkov as a character was interesting, complex, and so freaking attractive. I also loved that Ava was best friends with a real freaking princess. Her whole friend group was so interesting and fun, and I definitely plan to continue the series.
I did have a problem with the pacing. Things felt rushed, and there was a lack of detail and description. Things were sort of told to be happening rather than shown.
The more sexual scenes also weren't my favorite. This may be more of a personal preference, but Alex was a little too possessive when it came to Ava. The book warns you of that, and normally I don't have a problem with possessive love interests, but for some reason this one triggered me a bit.
All in all, the book was enjoyable, and I'd still recommend it.
OH- and the book comes with a playlist on the first page !!!
