Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks by Wwf, Mick Foley, Mankind

emotional funny inspiring lighthearted medium-paced

4.75

A fantastic autobiography about a topic I love so much. I've read a lot of biographies of wrestlers, normally written partly by them with the help of a professional writer, but to think that Foley wrote this entirely by himself is amazing, he has such a natural talent for writing. The book is a doorstop but it never felt like a chore to read, even if the action slows towards the end. The book covers all the smash hits of Foley's career and his family life, I really feel like you get Foley's personality popping out of the pages, when I read it I can hear his voice in my head. If you like wrestling or are at least a fan of Foley, the reasons we love this silly yet inspiring man becomes very evident in this book. A must-read for wrestling fans!
