Fallon and Greyson had known each other since they were kids. Living next door to each other, Greyson being best friend’s with Fallon’s twin brother, Dillion, and Greyson and Fallon sharing a deep connection that spanned many years. This story had brother’s best friend, a rockstar/ he’s a celebrity trope, to “it’s always been you”, friends to lovers, plus size representation, lots of spice, and much more.

I feel like I haven’t read much rockstar romances, but this story caught my attention, as well as the the description between Fallon and Greyson. This was the second book in what I’m assuming is the “Irresistibly Yours” series, so I realized that while reading, but if you can I would read the first book before starting this one. Anyways, this story focused on Greyson Monroe and Fallon Lark, they had known each other for a long time and their friendship spanned many years from them being kids, to Greyson becoming a rockstar, and Fallon on her way to becoming a doctor. The prologue gave some details that revealed just how deep Fallon and Greyson’s relationship. From sharing their deepest, most intimate secrets with one another to the lines blurring and them occasionally having a steamy night of passionate. The story time jumped a bit of further illustrate the distance that occurred between Fallon and Greyson from three years to six months. In just the beginning, there was a lot of divulge in what happened in both Fallon and Greyson’s lives. With so much history between the two, it was a no brainer to see just how much love there was between Fallon and Greyson, even when Fallon was engaged to another man! Talk about awkward, but it still didn’t take away from the fact that Greyson would always love his fall girl, Fallon. 

Greyson had always loved Fallon, and he couldn’t imagine his future without her, but when the truth bomb of her getting engaged to some rich, arrogant guy, suddenly Greyson believed he lost his chance with Fallon… or so he thought. Greyson was literally in love and obsessed with Fallon, the fact that three years prior, he busted a romantic gesture of running after her, catching a last minute flight in order to catch her to see her face to face spoke to the level of desperation at needing to talk to her. So, fast forward to Fallon telling Greyson she was engaged, it was a low blow that he felt, but he knew that Fallon could never truly be his, especially since her family hated him. The moment that Fallon broke off her engagement with what’s his face, I was glad and simultaneously thinking, “GREYSON COME GET YOUR GIRL!” He must have heard me through the book, or more likely with her again Fallon telling him that she was fiancée free and on her way to Europe to get a much needed vacation. The moment came and Greyson didn’t waste any time to make sure he seized the opportunity of showing Fallon how much he cared about, and… having the chance to get her to fall in love with him! OMG!

The tension between Greyson and Fallon was steamy and filled with lots of sexual tension between them. Not only was there passion, but the tension in the story also highlighted that despite years apart, the spark between Fallon and Greyson never extinguished. There was a quote from Fallon that perfectly illustrated the connection between them, “…I can demand friendship and nothing more, but there is no denying the sexual tension that's there between us. We're a dormant volcano with searing hot lava simmering just beneath the surface. He knows it. I know it. There's only so long we can play this game with each other before we erupt. And when we do, we'll leave nothing but destruction in our wake.” Yeah a volcano was a pretty spot on depiction of the heat, the desire emanating between Greyson and Fallon. Shoot, there were some moments where I was at the edge of my seat thinking, “OMG WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN??” So in that aspect I was kept on my toes until the moment came where everything went out the window and Fallon and Greyson went for it. 

If you want to read a book where the male lead loves to spoil his lady love and is absolutely obsessed with her, then this is the book for you! Greyson wasn’t just a rockstar, he was also a very successful/ rich/ man, who had excess money to spend, so he thought, why not spend it on his beloved Fallon? While traveling Europe together, Greyson wanted to spoil Fallon and treat her to all the luxuries he could get her because, as he said he was extremely wealthy and wanted to take the opportunity to use his money on the only woman he cared about, her! Greyson was out here setting up Fallon with the most beautiful, breathtaking views from the places they visited to getting designer outfits (clothes from his family’s fashion brand duh) and organizing a pamper day for her, awwww, “…I set you up with a full spa day. Massage, facial, nails, toes, hair, makeup, the works. Whatever you want, they're going to give it to you." Greyson was all kinds of thoughtful and not just from spoiling Fallon, but also the way he reassured her and encouraged her. Plus, Greyson was quick to remind Fallon that she was beautiful inside and out. I was very much enjoying all the wonderful things Greyson did for Fallon while simultaneously wishing it was me he was spoiling, (sigh) a girl can dream. 

Whenever the spice is good, you already know I gotta mention it! The chemistry between Fallon and Greyson was never in question, it was the kind of thing that you would take a mere glance at and know, “oh yeah those two are totally obsessed with one another”, and that translated well into their spicy scenes! Greyson was all about dirty talking, making sure Fallon knew how much he wanted her, desired her, and quite frankly making it known he wanted her ALL FOR HIMSELF! And then don’t even get me started on the scene with them in their private room aboard the train! OMG SO HOT! Plenty of steamy moments that was for sure! The intimate scenes also highlighted how much Greyson essentially worshipped Fallon and he put in the work from going to his knees, Fallon going for a Greyson ride *wink, wink, and lots of passion brimming from the pages! I can without a doubt say that the spicy scenes were not only hot, got me drinking lots of water to rehydrate, but loved seeing the way Fallon and Greyson wholeheartedly wanted each other.

I wasn’t sure what to expect before reading this book, but after finishing it I can fully say it was such a fun read! A rockstar romance, friends to lovers, summer getaway traveling Europe, spice galore, humor, and romantic gestures that had me swooning! Greyson and Fallon were amazing together! Their story spanned years and even the time apart, their feelings didn’t disappear. I felt the chemistry, the deep connection between Fallon and Greyson as I was reading, and I couldn’t get enough of it! This was the kind of book that would be perfect to read whenever you’re in the mood for a story that had found family, spice, a male lead that loves spoiling his love interest, humor, and overall a great time. Definitely will need to go back and read the first book since they appeared in this book and was very interested to learn about Aurelia and Zax’s story. There were so many moments that stood out to me that if I go into heavy detail, this review would never end haha. I loved the overall pacing of Fallon and Greyson’s story, there wasn’t a third act breakup, the communication between them was open, honest, and clear which I greatly appreciated. The ending ended on a good note, but the I read the bonus epilogues and I was like, “OMG YASSS!” Just some more romantic and loving moments between Fallon and Greyson, but also highlighting some big changes in their lives which was so sentimental yet also had the passion that only got hotter over the years for Fallon and Greyson. (Sigh) really glad I read this book and it went beyond my expectations! I loved Fallon and Greyson!
