this is hands down my favorite book I've ever read (and I've read A LOT of fantasy/high fantasy novels).
*edit: I put it's complicated for diversity since some of the characters are racially ambiguous and I also know that the 4th book has LGBTQ+ representation 🏳️🌈 we love to see it)*
I will say something though that might help y'all WHEN you read the book "series" that I didn't know myself when I started reading them. Each book is kind of like a stand alone novel all set in the same world and each book has a different main character. Don't let that deter you from reading though this author is amazing!! I did a bit of research since I haven't finished all of the books yet but from what I've seen you'll want to read the books in this order: Graceling (so that the mystery and fun isn't ruined for you and it was published first), then Fire, Bitterblue, and then Winterkeep (so excited for that one I can't wait!) That also happens to be the publication order but I've seen that some people will start with fire or go straight from Graceling to Bitterblue. I don't recommend it 🤷🏾♀️ I hope y'all enjoy the book!!!
