I thought this book was, yet another, great Cassandra Clare book. It was educational. In the way of the shadow Hunter world. You learned a lot about Magnus and his character, some of which you would never figure out from the original series. Some stories, of course, I did not like and I felt it might have ended at a, sort of bad place. But that does not mean you should not read it, it is still very good. And, like all other Cassandra Clare books, I would totally recommend it. Also, spoiler alert, it has a lot of Malec. Wink, wink.
