LOVE this book! The celebration of books and treating them as not boring old things but a fun adventure is great. The author saying that things happen to books sometimes and it is okay(though we really don't want our dogs to eat them. In all, this is a fun little book that everyone should have. I might have found a new birthday book to replace the ones I have been using for cards. The artwork lends to an older time but there is still modern things in the book (like a girl using an eReader in a tree). It is familiar and new at the same time. HUGE fan!
