I'm not ordinarily a fan of scifi or fantasy fiction. For that reason, it took me a bit to get into these characters. You'll definitely see shades of Max and Jules in this book. Overall, I ended up enjoying it and the last 200 pages were by far the best. I kept thinking that in my next life I want to come back as one of Brockmann's gay characters... man! They get the BEST story lines. Suzanne Brockmann has a great way with words and making characters real. For that reason alone, I think her fans of the Trouble Shooters series will enjoy this.
