SUPER entertaining but deeply dark and depressing. all the reviews said this book was funny but it most definitely WAS NOT. about 1/2 of the book was written from the perspective of an 11 year old, and the writing felt immersive and super accurate. the ending was SO GOOD TOO omg

stepping off the spaceship metaphor felt encompassing and I LOVE when an ending feels all-encompassing
