Rebel Heart by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland

2.0

I listened to this audiobook while painting my home office! While I didn't love book one, I was entertained enough to keep reading to see these characters through the conclusion.

Many romances novels have exaggerated characters, who swing to an extreme. That was the case here. Gia is the money-starved author who falls hopelessly in love with a wealthy bar owner; Rush is wealthy heir with a heart who fucks everyone until Gia; Elliot is his brother who hates his guts and cheats on his wife.

This book seemed to drag along. Rush and Gia keep breaking up and getting back together. It takes Rush so long to decide what he wants while stringing Gia along. It was sort of exhausting. These two books really could've been one book.
