I understand this was the author’s first book that is being republished now that she is more famous, but it was not a story that I think needed revisiting. The multiple POV each dealt with overlapping backstories and it was hard to get into the story. I didn’t like the characters, except for Catharine. Not interesting enough to keep me turning pages.
