Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream by Ralph Steadman, Hunter S. Thompson
4.0
Exactly as good as the movie. An amazing journey that is both extremely relatable and way "cooler" than reality was for those of us that can't count on one hand how many drugs we did in our twenties! For those of you that got through your life more straight laced, I don't know that you'd get much out of this one (and congratulations to you, sirs and madams, for such an accomplishment). But if you know what it feels like to be absolutely, positively blown out of your fucking gourd, you'll appreciate how eloquently these characters can exist permanently inside those completely outrageous moments.
