This is a novella in the multi author Bound by Flame collection where all the stories involve a dragon. Tropes include enemies to lovers, fated mates, burn the world, dragon shifter and praise/spoiling. And my favorite micro-trope, bathing each other. I received an advance listening copy and my thoughts are my own.

This was a cute, mostly low stakes dragon shifter romance and loved it. It is true enemies to lovers (for her) as she tries to kill him. đ I loved the romance and how he wants nothing more than to spoil her. The spice is sizzling but not overdone. Itâs a sweet romance that will have you giggling and kicking your feet as you soon over a dragon.
Audiobook: This was performed in dual narration by Maya Gloss and Jack Calihan, and this style of narration worked well for the dual POV. I thought each narrator was perfect for their respective MC. The male narratorâs voice for one of the âvillainsâ was perfectly (and funnily) nasally (per the characterâs description). The only part I didnât love was the female narratorâs voicing of the MMC - it was consistent but didnât sound at all like it was that characterâs voice. Audio quality and pacing were excellent on this audiobook.
