The last half of this book was much better than the first half. The issue with this first half is it just went from attack to attack to attack that I felt there was a lack of character development. And I kept on thinking, "Why does she have her cat with her!?" Also. How many times can a person get strangled, tortured, etc and the moment the pain is over....it haut disappears from her body.
The book was very YA in terms of romance and I enjoyed the second half but felt myself wishing I had liked it more and that it had been a tad bit shoeter.
