Yeah, what to say about this.....
It's like a car crash you can't look away from. I couldn't stop reading this, even though I struggled multiple times with the depictions of violence and gore. The amount of times I was like wth is happening I've never experienced before in one single book. My jaw dropped a couple of times and I had to stop to get my head straight.
The three stars are for not being able to justify four stars. Four stars to me means I liked/enjoyed it, and I can't say that for sure. Though I've read it relatively fast and in only a few reading sessions, but it's not a read you comfortable enjoy to relax. The writing though is good and would be worthy four stars. She definitely can work her way into your imagination with her words. I've already read 'A Year of Rest and Relaxation', which I though was great, and can't wait to explore her other books.
