I'm kind of conflicted after finishing this. Because, yes, this was beautiful. The prose is stunning and the story is beautiful and the characters touched my heart. BUT. It was also far too long. This could've been at least a hundred pages shorter than it was.

I will continue this series, but not right away. Because while the writing is all kinds of amazing, it's also the kind of writing that I just cannot binge endlessly. It's a tad exhausting, that kind of beautiful intensity. So yes, I will continue the series, just not right away.
