This is the second book in the Syndicate Academy series, but can be read as a standalone. HEA, dark antihero MMC, innocent and strong MFC. Honestly, this was a really quick and easy read for me. A lot less dark and disturbing than some other mafia-related romance stories. I do wish the characters had been in college rather than high school -_- I guess that’s what makes it taboo, but I just pretended they were in college to make it less weird. Took points off because there were A LOT of spelling and grammar mistakes. Still a good, lighthearted read. Well… lighthearted for a dark mafia romance I guess…
