Brida by Paulo Coelho
1.0
A boring and uninspired pseudo-philosophy novel. For all his talk about wanting to trust in the (proper noun) Dark Night and making decisions "knowing that they are are right one," Coelho can't seem to decide whether or not he wants to write Biblical allegory or magical realism. There are far too many details for it to be the former and surely it can't be the latter; the author violates the first rule of magical realism: Do Not Call it "Magic."
TL;DR La-la-la-la-my life is great! Yours is too sometimes! Except when it's not. Good thing my life is never hard! THE END
