This is a book based around a Russian fairy tale called The Snow Maiden. This was a beautiful and magical story. I didn't want to put it down! The first two parts are absolutely wonderful! I loved seeing the relationships between everyone changing and growing throughout the story. I loved the mystery behind Faina's background. The one complaint I had is that the third part of this book dragged on a bit. From the way the book started, I expected the whole story to be a little deeper, but everything was on the surface. Overall it was a great wintery read!
