Vows & Ruins by Helen Scheuerer

adventurous dark emotional mysterious tense fast-paced

5.0

This series has become a favourite it has everything that I love in a romantic fantasy. The plot is so well developed and thought out and has no slow pace, the world building is epic and is descriptive and engaging that you can’t help but visualise everything as well as still maintaining the mystery and action that we had in Blood and Steel.

As for Thea and Wilder they are strong as individual characters but together they are one of my favourite couples. The added tension and angst and the most delicious spicy scenes were beautiful in this book, if your looking for a mmc who is utterly in love with a fmc then meet Wilder he is one of the best.

The plot develops at a good pace there is no slowing down but this book also builds the relationship between Thea and Wilder as they try to stay away from each other but in the end the chemistry between them wins and they can’t help but give in.

The friendship between Thea, Kipp and Cal is still one of the best the way they are their for each other and always supporting is one of my favourite things.

Did I see the ending coming? No and I was honestly not prepared but now I am so excited for Fate & Furies, if you haven’t picked up the first book Blood and Steel in The Legends of Thelzamarr series I highly recommend especially if you are a romantasy fan this one will not disappoint. Helen Scheuerer has now become an autobuy author.
