Parkland: Birth of a Movement by Dave Cullen

5.0

The young people featured in this book are an inspiration, and Cullen does a magnificent job in sharing their perspective with empathy. Especially striking was the students' clarity on their own privilege and effort to be a platform for more diverse victims of gun violence as well as their day-to-day struggle to balance school, friendships, and their advocacy work while coping with grief and PTSD. Highly recommend, but keep a box of tissues handy.
