I would like to never see a willow tree again. Thank you.

The Hollow Places is brilliant, and I can't believe it's been sat on my shelves for 2 years. It was not what I was expecting at all, every reason I'd put off reading this was incorrect.

Did I spend most of my time reading this absolutely stressed out? Yes. Did I laugh out loud on several occasions? Yes. Did I love every second? Yes. I can't believe this is my first read by Kingfisher, her characterisation was fantastic, I quickly became attached to Kara 'Carrot' and Simon. They're the people you want to be in a scary interdimensional situation with.

Would definitely recommend if you like your horror with a little bit of sci-fi and a sprinkle of comedy. There was even an expedition element. I love an expedition.

(AD-PR Product) Thanks again to Titan Books for the gifted copy, I'm sorry it took me so long to read it 🧡
