The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

5.0

Have you ever searched for your one and only true love and it didn't work out? Yeah, well, me too. That's why I started reading this book. It sounded so cheesy, the love hypothesis, which I thought I could either hate or love. And, as it turns out, I really loved it. Now, please continue reading this so I can convince you to read this book so you can fall in love as well (with a fictional world, that is).

For starters, I really enjoyed it because the characters are very relatable. I could really put myself in their heads and that made me enjoy the book far more. The plot was also very funny with a hint of real life (sad) stuff that made it all the better.

Like, for example, the main character is a badass woman who really sees the good in life and tries to make the love interest see it as well. The way she tried to show him the good in the world was phenomenal. She tries to make him smile, laugh, joke and really helps him come out of his shell. Eventually, she (of course, it's a book) succeeds and they are happy together. The way those two fit together really make me gush all over the book, like I literally squeeled when he hawled her off her feet during the love confession.

All in all, it's a great book that made me believe in (fictional) love again. It's even better when you're in a reading slump and really need to get out of it. I aspire to be Olive someday with my own Adam Carlsen by my side. So, would I recommend it? Definitely!! I really can't put into words how amazing it is.
