Don't Blink by James Patterson
5.0
I was impressed! Even though it was a James Patterson novel, it was refreshing. It seemed the style and story line are different than what I'm used to reading from him.
I really enjoyed Nick's narration and the way the plot twisted. Although Nick did seem to be a little too luck dodging death at the end of every other chapter.
There was this little tidbit that I LOVED! Nick, the journalist, was speaking to a police officer and said he needed help writing a novel.
the cop responds with something along the lines of "yeah sometimes we help out with Alex Cross books"
Nick replied, "Never read them"
I laughed out loud. I thought it was a brilliant little tidbit between the author and reader.
