I didn't know this existed until a few day ago, when visiting the Jane Austen Centre at Bath, and I am so glad I bought it! It's a very short history of the monarchs i'of England which Jane Austen wrote at only 15yo(!) with illustrations by her sister, Cassandra.

I would need to reread it after learning more about the kings and queens of England but even unfamiliar with the details of their histories, I am delighted by this booklet. The amount of sass and with demonstrated by Jane Austen is nothing short but delightful. 🥰
