A Silent Death by Peter May
5.0
I enjoyed this standalone book, with interesting characters, different from the norm. No hard-boiled alcoholics this time, but someone who was outside the norm for different reasons. The locations were different and added to the setting, proving very effective, whilst still being relatable. The tension built well, allowing time to get to know and become invested in the people involved, and the story developed well.
