Well then... I'm not quite sure where to start. So let me just give you the (spoiler-free) notes I made whilst I continue to blubber and sniffle over this beautiful story.

- Honestly, I liked Lilac from the moment I met him in book 3. I just have a weakness for his type of character, okay??

- Oh god. Humans really are monsters. Poor Seraph. My heart truly breaks for him.

- Awww, I love all the monsters from the previous books banding together with Lilac to help Seraph. Well, Wyn, Edin, Aury, Gloam, to be specific. Not Moth because most of this overlaps with book 5.

- I love how Lilac and Seraph's relationship is developing. Obviously, it's slower than the ones that have come before, but considering the circumstances, that's normal. It's beautiful to see though.
There isn't much in the way of action, which I absolutely don't mind. This book is quieter than the others. But I think that's a good thing, considering who it's about.

- Even with the spicy scenes being uber spicy (no complaints here, ahem), Lilac and Seraph's romance feels so damn wholesome and I love it.

- LOVE the fact that Aury, Gloam, Edin and Wyn are all so protective over Seraph and that them and their human mates are becoming a family of sorts, along with Lilac and Seraph.

- GAH. These two. My heart. I can't even with them. Too precious.
