I read this book years and years ago and my only memory was that I didn’t enjoy the war part as much as the origin story, almost yearning to skip onto the next chapter of the alternating storyline. Whereas this time I found the spy/war story more compelling. I wonder why?

I was surprised by the amount of detailed sex scenes.
