CRAVING DARKNESS, book two in the Demons Within series is here and I am stoked! I have been waiting for this book since finishing LOVELY DARKNESS and I must say that it was well worth the wait!

We're introduced to our latest Demon obsession, Valen. Valen is a loner and has chosen to live away from civilization due to possessing a power that he cannot seem to control. No matter how hard he tries to contain it, someone always gets hurt. After receiving a distress call from an old friend, Valen comes out of seclusion to assist. Unbeknownst to him, more than his friend awaits him. Something unexpected that Valen isn't ready for; the revelation that he has a fated mate.

Kallista is on the run from her past and has taken up refuge in a small town where she lives a quiet life working for tips as a waitress in an exotic club. On sight, Kallista feels an instant attraction towards the stranger who arrives at the club to meet with her boss. No sooner than their eyes meet, Kallista finds herself in Valen's direct path when he comes to her aid, saving her life.

Having discovered they're fated, the two struggle to come to terms with what this means for them both, as this is unexpected, and neither are prepared for the consequences. Author, R. Sullins has scored another hit in CRAVING DARKNESS with Valen and Kallista! This author has a knack for creating heroines that are so relatable, it's like looking into a reflection of your own soul. Her heroes are so dashing and chivalrous, you’ll yearn to be the one in peril they’ll burn down the world for. Valen and Kallista complement and complete each other. Valen gives Kallista the protection she has always sought but never received and Kallista provides Valen with acceptance and absolution, allowing him to love and live freely without regret. R. Sullins' books are the reason why I am irrevocably in love with the ‘fated mates’ trope!

The revelations at the end of this book totally blew me away. I did not see it coming! Don't worry... you'll be quite pleased! I am already “craving" more! Ugh! This author doesn't write fast enough! LOL

I wish I could assign this book more stars than five because this book was truly amazing. If you loved Varek & Juliette in LOVELY DARKNESS, I can assure you CRAVING DARKNESS will give you the same ooey-gooey feelings for Valen & Kallista! This was an excellent read and I can't wait for more books in this series!
