1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
5.0
Principles and logic didn't give birth to reality.
Reality came first, and the principles and logic followed.
I saw somebody say that this novel was like a 'boule de neige'. I couldn't agree more.
The only way I can describe Murakami's writing is 'simply incredible'. I genuinely believe that he is one of the absolute best writers out there.
This novel was confusing, fascinating, engulfing.
There is not much plot, not many huge things happen, but somehow I stayed hooked. I kept thinking about Aomame and Tengo at random times and I am positive that that will continue.
It felt as if 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami is our world's version of Air Chrysalis by Eriko Fukada. It felt as if Murakami was trying to take away the power of our world's Little People. Who knows, maybe I am currently in 2Q21. I was engulfed so fully by this story that my reality does not feel "real".
All I know is that I want to get my hands on any books Haruki Murakami has and will ever write.
