The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
3.0
3 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I began to realize that love wasn’t dead, but it wasn’t forever, either. It was something in between, a moment in time where two people existed at the exact same moment in the exact same place in the universe.
The Dead Romantics is the third Ashley Poston book I read and the premise had me believe that I would be in love with this one too.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case.
It was sweet and cute but the charm that was sprinkled all over the previous books I read just sizzled.
I did not connect with the protagonist and I'm someone that deeply connects with themes of grief but something felt disjointed in the story.
Content warnings: mainly mention of death of loved ones and grief.
