Firecracker by David Iserson
Did not finish book.
Chose to stop reading 5/12/13
I decided to stop reading this book about a quarter if the way in. I just was not enjoying the writing and everything was just all too goofy for me. I was hoping for zany-funny, which it was, but everything was a bit too over the top for my tastes. I could have kept reading, but I actually wasn't liking Astrid so if I don't like the main character, I won't like the book.
I'm sure a lot of people will find this one really fun and quite hilarious because some of these situations could be laugh out loud funny. They're just geared toward a different sense of humor and I can just tell I'm not quite the right audience for the book.
