I really wanted to love Griffin and Cosy's story, but it fell a bit Galt for me. They were apart more than they were together or at least it felt that way to me. I also feel like it felt so disconnected from the rest of the series. Like I know it could be a standalone but it almost stood too far on its own. I liked Cosy's fierceness and how she stood her ground, but she also jumped to conclusions a little too quickly throughout the story. The spice also felt more toned down in this installment. This was fine but compared to the rest of the series I feel like it wasn't where I needed it to be.
