The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
5.0
Recommended for: gifted children
I read this series when I was 10-13, and it was the first series that was at my reading level with protagonists who were at my age and intellectual prowess. I’m convinced if I didn’t have this book I would have felt completely alone in the world. A series of unfortunate events was the only thing that came close and that was super depressing (though unfortunately relatable to me). This book was a happy book. It remains in my all-tome favourites.
