This book was fantastic. It's dark. If you are a person who can't take a rape storyline trigger, then forget this book. The first book in this series was ok, the second book good but this one I loved. Usually a series starts off better and gets worse. The opposite is true here. This story is fantastic, one of the best mafia reads IMO if you like that type storyline. This author's writing has improved greatly since her Echo/Stutter duet. After reading that series I wasn't going to pick up another of her books but all my friends were loving this series. Glad I stuck with this. It's on KU if you want to try it.
