The concept is very interesting and I love that she chose historical figures from the medieval times to modern times, some a little more obscure than others. The writing style is not bad either and it’s a very nice and enjoyable introductory book.
I just did not care about the whole dinner parts, I understand her experiment with this but I thought that it was too cheesy and did not really add anything to the book. I also did not like how different she wrote some of the stories, she changed her style a few times throughout the book and that made me feel like I was reading a different book or just an article in a magazine.
