Another Fitzek book is finished for me. At first I wasn‘t quite sure if this story was for me but again Fitzek is a genius story writer. He captivates me with every book. His writing is so easy to follow but still complicated enough in the plot that you do not figure out how the book ends before you actually finish it. He is a genius, who leads you to believe you know/guessed the plot twist but at the end you figure out how wrong you were. He really is the king of plot twist thrillers.
Also I love that there are reoccurring characters in his books, it‘s always such a nice surprise to read a name and know that this person already exists in his book universe. Even though you can read them as stand alone books, but for his fans these are amazing easter eggs.
