The mystery really kept me going. It was interesting to find out how the murders happened and the motive behind it.
I don't think the book should be too long. I understand if it was mainly due to the amount of backstory this story has (which is a plus), but I think it can be shorten to keep a good pace with the story.
Also liked how not every member of the kongelig are bad, or that a lot of these characters aren't simply two-dimensional.
But the fight at the end I didn't like. It felt too easy given who Sigourney had to deal with.
Overall, great world-building, interesting characters, good story, pace was slow at times, and the last fight could have been more interesting. Really looking forward to read the next book :)
