Similar to my update I made on this book, not trying to be a basic bitch, but I really enjoyed this one. It's been about a week since I finished it so I can't remember all of the beautiful and perfect moments, but so much of this book really resonated with me. In particular, the conversation around religion felt so personal for me in my struggles I've been having in reconciling the church and the religious institution of Christianity with my personal faith. Seriously, so much of these personal essays Glennon Doyle wrote felt so relatable to me I felt like she read my thoughts and put them on paper in a way that made it feel more understandable to even myself. I also absolutely loved getting to read the love story between Glennon and Abby. It was heart meltingly adorable and definitely made me cry multiple times because I am just that much of a sucker for a good love story. Long story short, I am a huge fan and grateful to my sister for forcing me to read this even though I was sure I was not going to like it lol.
