Book = Perfect!

“Sometimes the people that are supposed to love you the most are the ones who hurt you the worst. They don’t get a pass just because they’re family. Choose yourself.”

“All of chapter 11.”

THE SPICE THE SPICE THE SPICE!!!

Loved this book down. I almost read it again right when it ended. I’m on Rome’s top because that man showed how simple it is to love, protect and cherish your woman. If you do that you’ll never have to worry about her not loving you back completely. I just love the way he didn’t play about her. Nelle had a lot of us upset for not sticking up for herself. Hell there are a lot of people out here like that right now when it comes to certain family members. However, when baby girl got fed up she let them have it and i love that for them. Let’s give it up for them both having successful careers at their black jobs.

Plenty of people talk about the boat scene and yes i get it. I need that in my life asap. However, that  computer/game scene was so cute and perfect. I was showing all of my teeth.

Lastly, i love how things ended with nelle and her sister and mother. The amount of gaslighting them two did was crazy. You got to know when to let people go and live your life. Literally choosing you no matter what. I’m pretty sure more kids need to tap their parent’s top because that mother deserved every last word.

I need an update on these two.
